On April 22–23, the Public Procurement Office of Slovakia welcomed representatives from Direktoratet for forvaltning og økonomistyring and the Norwegian Complaints Board for Public Procurement (KOFA) as part of the Bilateral Cooperation initiative, funded by the EEA and Norway Grants.
A highlight of the visit was a presentation by Jozef Kubinec from Ministerstvo vnútra Slovenskej republiky, a dedicated public buyer and proud PCP WISE consortium partner. Jozef shared Slovakia’s emerging experience in innovation procurement, with a particular focus on pre-commercial procurement (PCP).
The PCP WISE project was presented as a pioneering example — it represents the first instance of PCP in Slovakia involving Slovak public buyers. This marks a significant step forward in integrating innovative procurement practices within the Slovak public sector.
We’re proud to see the PCP WISE project contribute to shaping a more forward-thinking and innovation-driven procurement landscape in Europe.
