We’re excited to announce that PCP WISE partners Stefka Domuzova and Antonia Matthies from Climate KIC participated in today’s session introducing the RAST – Regional Adaptation Support Tool!
RAST is designed to help local and regional authorities turn policy into action through 6 structured steps. A key part of this process is Step 2: Assessing climate risks and vulnerabilities – where the CLIMAAX project tools come into play.
✅ The CLIMAAX tool estimates potential damage from extreme events like storm surges and coastal flooding.
✅ The Mission Portal’s adaptation dashboard provides insights into climate risks by analyzing hazard, exposure, and vulnerability.
✅ It also includes water exploitation indices, helping regions assess their vulnerability to droughts and water scarcity.
To build resilience, we must engage stakeholders and co-develop adaptation plans based on key risks and priorities. Let’s take action together! 💪🌱
