On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, the NSO – Netherlands Space Office and GeoBusiness Nederland successfully hosted a well-attended matchmaking workshop in Amersfoort in preparation for the upcoming PCP WISE Call for Tenders, scheduled for launch in September 2025.

The event brought together a wide range of participants, including companies, research and technology organizations (RTOs), and universities. The goal was to support the formation of strong consortia interested in developing innovative, satellite-based data services for water management — tackling challenges such as droughts, floods, and climate resilience.
💡 Participants had the opportunity to:
• Learn about the PCP WISE funding opportunity, which will distribute €12 million in EU support across three competitive phases
• Connect with potential partners for future proposals
• Explore the role of space data in addressing critical environmental issues
• Strengthen their position within the European innovation ecosystem
The workshop also served as a vital networking moment ahead of the tender’s launch, encouraging collaboration and idea-sharing within the Dutch space and water technology communities.
