Following the launch of the PCP WISE Call for Tenders on 5 September 2025 and the submission deadline of 7 January 2026, the evaluation of proposals has now been completed.
A total of 25 bids were received, demonstrating strong interest from the market and confirming the relevance and ambition of the PCP WISE initiative to advance Earth Observation–powered water intelligence solutions.
On 11 February 2026, tenderers will be formally notified of the decision on the awarding of contracts. The signature of the framework agreements and Phase 1 specific contracts will take place on 2 March 2026, followed by the publication of the contract award notice in the Official Journal of the European Union (TED) on the same date. Phase 1 of the PCP will officially start on 3 March 2026.
This three-phase Pre-Commercial Procurement will support R&D services from solution design through to prototype development and field validation, with the objective of delivering innovative EO-based tools to monitor the Soil–Water–Vegetation system and improve the prediction, prevention, and management of water-related risks such as floods, fires, and droughts.
Please note that unauthorised contact during the tender process may lead to the exclusion of the tender as indicated in TD1 sections 4.1 and 5.3.
