PCP WISE Enters Phase 1 with the Announcement of Five Selected Consortia

Following the launch of our Open Market Consultation in September 2025, aimed at identifying innovative companies capable of addressing the PCP WISE challenges, we are now pleased to move forward to the next stage.

Phase 1 marks a four-month solution design stage, focusing on challenges related to floods, droughts, and groundwater management. During this phase, selected contractors will be invited to develop and present detailed solution concepts, including overall architecture and design, while demonstrating the technical, economic, and organizational feasibility of their proposed approaches.

We warmly congratulate the five consortia selected for contract award:

DROPS WISE led by ARUP B.V. (Netherlands) and composed of ARUP, Nelen & Schuurmans, FutureWater, AcaciaWater, Vito and Technolution.
SYMPHONICA led by Hydrologic Systems B.V. (Netherlands) and composed of Witteveen+Bos, ELEAF, WeatherImpact and WUR.
WI4EURECA led by Planetek Italia S.r.l. (Italy) and composed of Latitudo 40, Agricolus and Tracasa Global.
VALOR AQUA led by SingularLogic (Greece) and composed of Centreo Tecnologico CARTIF, Nazka, Sumaqua and AgroApps.
Aquaspace Finland led by Sitowise Oy (Finland) and composed of Aalto University, University of Turku, NLS Finnish Geospatial Reasearch Institute FGI and Finnish Meteorological Institute.
