To what extent do you think PCP WISE will contribute to enhance Europe’s ability to adapt to and mitigate the effect of climate change?
By participating in PCP WISE, we believe the project will significantly contribute to strengthening Europe’s capacity to adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change through innovative and sustainable water management approaches. Water management is becoming a critical priority for Europe’s future, as climate change increasingly affects resource availability and environmental resilience. In this context, G.A.C. Group strongly believes that the careful selection of use cases, combined with the diversity of perspectives and approaches embedded within PCP WISE, creates the right conditions for developing concrete and impactful solutions tailored to the realities and needs of different territories. This collaborative approach contributes to addressing one of Europe’s most pressing climate-related challenges and reinforces preparedness for future environmental impacts.
To what extent do you think Environmental Observation (EO) and Innovation Procurement (IP) can help develop innovative solutions for water management and climate resilience across Europe?
At G.A.C. Group, we truly believe that Environmental Observation (EO) and Innovation Procurement (IP) can play a key role in developing practical solutions for water management and climate resilience across Europe. Environmental Observation is one of the key tools for analysing a wide range of situations and scenarios, allowing stakeholders to continuously improve their understanding through ongoing data collection and monitoring. EO is particularly valuable to better understand water resources, identify trends, anticipate risks, compare different cases and territorial contexts, and support informed decision-making. Combined with Innovation Procurement, which links concrete public needs with innovative solutions, it creates opportunities to develop and test responses that are directly aligned with local challenges and realities across Europe.
