Climate change is creating increasingly complex challenges for water management across Europe. Addressing these challenges requires innovative technologies – but also strong collaboration between those who develop solutions, those who use them, and those who can help bring them into practice.

This is the ambition behind the PCP WISE Stakeholder Observatory Group (SOG): a community designed to bring together diverse stakeholders and ensure that the solutions developed through PCP WISE respond to real-world needs.

What is the PCP WISE Stakeholder Observatory Group?

The SOG is a collaborative network gathering stakeholders interested in the future of climate resilience and water management innovation. It provides a space for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and feedback throughout the PCP WISE project.

By involving end-users, policymakers, researchers, industry representatives, and other relevant actors, the SOG helps ensure that PCP WISE solutions are relevant, usable, and aligned with market and societal needs.

SOG members can contribute by:
  •  Sharing expertise and perspectives to guide project activities;
  •  Providing feedback on solutions, use cases, and methodologies;
  •  Supporting collaboration between different communities;
  •  Helping identify opportunities and barriers for future adoption;
  •  Contributing to the dissemination and uptake of project results.

Who can join the SOG?

The SOG welcomes a wide range of organisations and individuals interested in PCP WISE.

Two main categories of stakeholders are particularly encouraged to participate:

🔹 Followers – organisations and individuals interested in following PCP WISE developments, including policymakers, networks, associations, EU projects, NGOs, civil society organisations, and other actors interested in climate adaptation and innovation.

🔹 Replicators – potential future users and buyers of PCP WISE solutions, such as municipalities, regions, water agencies, environmental authorities, and other organisations facing climate adaptation challenges.
