PCP WISE will take part in the Fifth Forum for the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change, taking place on 23-24 November 2026 in Dublin, Ireland. The annual Forum will bring together communities, practitioners, policymakers, researchers and innovators to exchange knowledge and explore practical, replicable solutions for strengthening climate resilience across Europe.

As a Mission Project working at the intersection of water management, Earth Observation and climate resilience, PCP WISE will contribute to the Forum’s focus on developing innovative, locally relevant solutions to climate adaptation challenges.

PCP WISE at the Water resilience exhibition stand

PCP WISE will be part of the Forum’s Water resilience exhibition, alongside the Mission projects WaterLANDS and RESIST.

Located in the main networking and catering area of the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, the exhibition will provide an opportunity for participants to discover projects working on climate adaptation and exchange with representatives from across Europe. The exhibition is designed to showcase practical solutions and encourage connections between Mission projects, public authorities, researchers, innovators and other stakeholders.

PCP WISE will showcase its approach to using Earth Observation-based water intelligence to support more resilient water management and climate adaptation.

The Water resilience exhibition will therefore provide a valuable opportunity to present PCP WISE’s work alongside complementary approaches from other Mission projects and to engage directly with stakeholders working on climate adaptation across Europe.

A dedicated Water resilience workshop

PCP WISE will also contribute to the Forum’s afternoon programme on 24 November, from 15:55 to 17:15, during a dedicated workshop on Water resilience.

The session will begin with short presentations from Mission Projects, setting the scene for subsequent discussions in smaller groups. PCP WISE will deliver a five-minute presentation introducing the project, its objectives, key achievements and its work on water resilience.

The presentation will also explore how the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change can support PCP WISE’s ongoing work, including through cross-border cooperation, connections with regions and communities, and the identification of opportunities to further develop and apply innovative adaptation solutions.

The workshop will then provide an opportunity for participants to discuss concrete challenges and co-create solutions related to water resilience, bringing together perspectives from different sectors and governance levels.

Connecting innovation with climate adaptation

The Fifth Forum comes at an important stage for PCP WISE. As the project progresses towards the development and testing of innovative water intelligence solutions, engaging with the wider European climate adaptation community will help strengthen connections between innovation, public authorities and the needs of territories facing increasing water-related climate risks.

The Forum will also offer opportunities to exchange with other Mission Projects and stakeholders, share experiences and explore potential synergies for the further development and uptake of solutions supporting climate-resilient water management.
