The PCP WISE team was proud to participate in the Living Planet Symposium 2025, held from 23 to 27 June 2025 in Vienna, Austria.
Organised by the European Space Agency (ESA), the Living Planet Symposium is one of the world’s largest and most influential gatherings on Earth observation. It brought together the global community to exchange the latest scientific discoveries, technological innovations, and practical applications in environmental monitoring.
Over the course of the event, we had the pleasure of connecting with a wide range of stakeholders — from innovative technology providers and cutting-edge research organisations to forward-thinking policymakers and industry leaders.
🔍 The interest in the PCP WISE project was tremendous. Our booth attracted strong attention, sparking insightful conversations and drawing great questions about our work and objectives. We were especially pleased to see growing curiosity around the upcoming Call for Tenders, set to launch in September 2025.
The symposium offered a valuable platform to present the project’s goals, highlight our progress, and showcase how Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) can support public sector innovation through Earth observation-based services. It also reinforced the importance of cross-sector collaboration in building more sustainable, future-ready solutions for Europe.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by, engaged with our team, and contributed to the dialogue. We’re excited to continue the momentum and build on the many connections made in Vienna.
