How can emerging technologies help public authorities better anticipate and respond to the impacts of climate change?
On 6 August 2026 (13:00–15:00 CEST), the Co-Growth programme will host its fifth and final webinar, bringing together experts from Europe and Asia to explore how Digital Twins, Nature-based Solutions and marine ecosystem science can strengthen coastal resilience.
The webinar will showcase how Earth Observation, advanced modelling and artificial intelligence can support evidence-based decision-making through scenario analysis and innovative adaptation strategies. These approaches closely resonate with the objectives of PCP WISE, which leverages cutting-edge technologies to help public authorities better monitor, anticipate and manage water-related climate risks.
The programme will feature two expert presentations:
- Dr. Joanna Staneva (Hereon) – Digital Twins and Nature-Based Solutions: What-If Scenarios for Coastal Resilience
- Prof. Fei Chai (Xiamen University) – Marine Biogeochemical Cycles and Ecosystem Responses in the Pacific Ocean
