On 12 June 2025, the PCP WISE project proudly hosted its 2nd Open Market Consultation (OMC) as part of EXPANDEO 2025 — the flagship annual event of the European Association of Remote Sensing Companies (EARSC). This hybrid session, held both onsite in Brussels and online, marked another milestone in our mission to boost innovation in climate-resilient water management.

A warm thank you to EARSC for providing a vibrant platform to connect with such a diverse audience. From policy leaders to technology providers and climate experts, our session welcomed a full house of engaged participants, both in-person and virtually. The discussions were rich, the questions insightful, and the enthusiasm around the PCP WISE challenge truly energising. 🙌

🔍 Key Highlights:

  • Ana Lucia Jaramillo (Corvers) opened the session with a warm welcome and later shared essential OMC Guidelines, offering clarity on the process and next steps for suppliers.

  • Hans van Leeuwen (STOWA) walked the audience through the core ambitions of PCP WISE — tackling flood, drought, and infrastructure risks through soil-water-vegetation monitoring and space-based data.

  • Melissa Campagno (G.A.C. Group) introduced the Community Platform, emphasizing collaboration, matchmaking, and building cross-sector consortia.

It was exciting to see a growing PCP WISE community, including returning participants from previous events and newcomers discovering the opportunity for the first time. To give everyone a fair chance to get involved, we’ve extended the Request for Information (RFI) deadline to 22 June 2025.

🧩 Whether you’re a hydrology expert, remote sensing innovator, or system integrator — now is the time to get involved. Your insights will help shape a European solution to local climate challenges.
